The distributor of PSA (Peugeot, Citroen and DS) products in Australia and New Zealand, Sime Darby Motors, has announced the appointment of Kai Bruesewitz to the position of General Manager – effective March 14.
Mr Bruesewitz joins the Australasian operations with over 16 years of automotive experience, both locally and abroad, the most recent being General Manager of MINI Australia and New Zealand – where he oversaw an increase of 50% in the marque’s sales.
Having commenced his automotive career in Europe, Mr Bruesewitz brings sales, marketing, dealer, distribution and business management experience to the PSA stable of brands.
Speaking of his appointment, Mr Bruesewitz said,
“Since moving to Australia in 2012, I’ve come to understand one of the most competitive and dynamic markets in the world and I’m very excited to join both Sime Darby and the PSA stable at such a formative time.”
