Mitsubishi Motors to debut Geoseek Concepts at 2016 Geneva International Motor Show

Mitsubishi Geoseek Concept

Mitsubishi Motors Corporate (MMC) will premier two new concept cars at the upcoming 2016 Geneva International Motor Show – the L200 (Triton) Geoseek Concept and ASX Geoseek Concept.

Adding a dash of flavour to the current Triton and face-lifted ASX model, each Geoseek Concept is accessorised to express their outdoor adventurous side with tough-look added accessories geared toward outdoor enthusiasts.

Exterior
Giving expression to the toughness of these models, the two versions of the Geoseek Concept use a solid tone pearl grey body finish while the parts serve to symbolise the functional nature of an SUV including fog lamps bezels, wheel arches, alloy wheel rims, side garnish, tailgate spoiler, rear bumper and eye-catching door mirrors are accented in a vibrant orange.

To enhance their active look, the front fascia sports a mesh inner grill and a skid plate below the bumper while both are fitted with a roof basket for carrying bicycles or camping gear.

The Triton version has working lights and hand holds fitted to the roof rails while the ASX version uses LED fog lamps to bring out the individual personalities of the two models.

Interior
The mostly black trim uses the same vibrant orange accenting as the exterior in strategic areas to present a casual and sporty image akin to outdoor sporting wear.

The seats use highly functional covering materials with mesh fabric centre panels giving excellent ventilation while a suede-like fabric provides a low-slip surface to the side bolsters.

The Mitsubishi eX Concept will also premier for the first time in Europe. The compact SUV, which was first shown at the Tokyo Motor Show 2015, is driven by a next-generation EV system which gives it a cruising range of 400 km.
